Yesterday, David Saive spoke at the "Trilogy on Blockchain, Sustainable Development and Privacy" conference in Berlin. He shared his ideas about responsibility in permissioned blockchains in terms of data protection.
We are still amazed by how our conference "Digitization: Future Maritime Law" has striked a chord. It was our very first time to not only participate in such an event, but take over the organization next to the Universität Hamburg. To then see a fully occupied room, hear interesting discussions and finally receive such a great feedback, has by far been more than we expected.
Thank you to everyone that came along and especially to our speakers that shared their expertise. Get ready for another edition next year, because so are we!
Last month we had the opportunity to take part in the 20. Herbstakademie in Bremen. After a great opening in the townhall of Bremen, moderated by Prof. Dr. Jürgen Taeger, Prof. Dr. Dieter Dörr and state council Henning Lühr, we started off into three days of scientific exchange and sharing ideas on #digitization, #databreach, #IoT, #GDPR etc. On Friday our team member Thomas Janicki has been the first one to go and pointed out the interrelation of #digitization and #demographicchange in means of #dataprotection. Later Hauke Precht and David Saive illustrated the role of jurists in the #scrumprocess.
Looking back at our very first #haptik Workshop, which has been a thorough success! All insights we could gain, input we could give and new contacts we could establish made this day very special. Thanks to all participants and especially to the Maritimes Cluster Norddeutschland e. V., who helped us organize this event.
We can proudly announce that #haptik is mentioned in the latest ICC Germany e.V. magazine. Tim Schommer properly describes the challenge of digitizing documents of trade, taking into account legal compliance under german law. #paperless#tokenbl

The ZD just published this article about Privacy by Design in #blockchain networks written by our team members Thomas Janicki and David Saive containing essential perceptions for our #tokenbl!
